Janus International Europe is a leading supplier of self storage and access control solutions. They contacted Freeman Clarke in 2021 for assistance in addressing some shortfalls in their technology estate that were holding back their growth plans. After meeting with Mike Sturrock, they engaged his services to assess their existing situation and recommend a way forward.
In short order Mike got to grips with the issues and developed a plan. The first phase involved improving the existing support from several of their suppliers and planning an upgrade of their ERP to Business Central.
Delivery of the Business Central upgrade over the subsequent 6 months unlocked a host of new capabilities that allowed for richer reporting and closer management of finance and enabled the second phase of the plan.
The second phase involved implementing an improved Warehouse Management System, linking directly to Business Central, allowing for a single source of the truth, efficiencies in the operation and the ability to scale.
