Headquartered in Harrogate, Yorkshire, NEOM Wellbeing is one of the UK’s leading wellness brands, selling through ecommerce, retail stores, and wholesale partners. A Certified B Corp, NEOM uses 100% natural fragrances and is on a mission to supercharge the wellbeing of its communities and the planet.
Following a period of rapid growth, including recognition in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, NEOM began experiencing the operational pressures that often accompany scale. Its integration platform struggled to handle increasing order volumes, the ERP system faced performance challenges, and limited connectivity between ecommerce, retail, and backend systems created operational friction.
Freeman Clarke partnered with NEOM to help modernise the technology landscape and create a scalable platform for future growth. Gareth Rooney led the engagement, working closely with the leadership team to assess the existing technology environment, challenge incumbent suppliers, and develop a clear technology roadmap.
This work included redesigning integration architecture, supporting the selection and implementation of new technologies, and improving connectivity across ecommerce, retail, and operational systems. Gareth also supported NEOM’s international expansion plans through ERP rollout in new regions and integrations with third-party logistics partners.
Beyond platform improvements, Freeman Clarke contributed across several strategic initiatives, including a managed services provider RFP, IPaaS selection and implementation, cloud migration, and support for new retail store openings.
As the technology landscape stabilised, Gareth also helped NEOM strengthen its internal technology capability, supporting the development of a team structure capable of supporting the business as it continues to grow.
Adam Woodhouse, CFO at NEOM Wellbeing, said:
Freeman Clarke has played an important role in helping NEOM navigate a period of significant growth and increasing operational complexity. Gareth brought both strategic perspective and practical delivery, helping us challenge our existing technology landscape, modernise key systems, and build a roadmap that supports our ambitions for scale and international expansion.
From strengthening our integration architecture and ERP capabilities through to supporting cloud migration and retail expansion, Gareth has consistently focused on ensuring our technology enables the business rather than constrains it. His contribution has helped us build a more resilient and scalable platform for the next stage of NEOM’s growth.
